⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High Hill Resort is truly a hidden gem in Texas! Jason & I stayed in one of their beautiful bungalows, The Great Southern, and from start to finish our experience was incredible. The bungalow was gorgeous, comfortable, and felt like a true escape. Dinner at their restaurant Côte was a highlight—we had the duck magret, osso bucco, and finished with the Buttercake, which was absolutely unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the service was top-notch. What excites us even more is the vision for the full Mediterranean-style resort community they’re building. With villas, a white sand beach, boutique-style Topgolf, pickleball, shopping, dining, and so much more on the horizon—it’s clear this is going to be one of Texas’ premier destinations. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway, a vacation rental, or even an investment opportunity, High Hill Resort is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Oh my goodness! Spent my birthday weekend here & it was AMAZING! Nestled in the woods, the cutest & exceptionally clean cottage, pampered with breakfast in bed, a wonderful massage with Kyle & perfectly prepared dinners that were scrumptious! And did I mention the cocktails?! Put High Hill Resort on your East Texas bucket list!

My husband and I found this place, which is amazing. The whole world should know about it. We had the most delicious lunch there. The club sandwich and chicken Caesar salad were wonderful, but the Lobster Bisque was one of the best I have ever had. I must also mention the amazing Bloody Mary they made us. The staff and owners were so accommodating and gave us the best tour of the entire property. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue, or an event venue, I would highly recommend. Jason and his wife Sharon were delightful and genuine. I can't wait to see what they do next here!

If you’re looking for an experience that’s nothing short of breathtaking, I encourage you to keep reading. I had the pleasure of once again trying the amazing food at the Côte restaurant located at the High Hill Farm resort community. This visit was a bit different though. I actually got to stay in one of the beautiful bungalows and enjoy an amazing breakfast in bed. I made reservations at 6pm and we showed up shortly before. We were politely greeted and we even got to check in before being seated. Our waitress Anna stopped by and took our drink order and gave us some time to look over the menu. She came back shortly after to check on us. That’s when we placed our order. We got the Burrata as our appetizer and a caesar salad. For our entrees, we chose the Smoked Pork Loin and the Brick Chicken. We went ahead and ordered dessert as well. My wife wanted the Dubai Chocolate and I couldn’t leave without getting their incredible Butter Cake. The bread and butter, caesar salad, and the Burrata came out first and it was honestly the first time I’ve ever had Burrata. The crostini’s were perfectly toasted. The warmth from the buttered crostini mixed with the cold bruschetta was a match made in heaven. The olive oil and balsamic reduction added such a nice touch. Of course their warm bread and butter was just as incredible as the last time, as well as the salad. Now it was time for the main course. The first thing I tried was the pork loin. It had a nice smoky flavor to it and the dijon cream sauce was absolutely delicious. The risotto and the corn and peppers were also just as amazing as the last time I had them. The risotto was rich and creamy and the corn and peppers were loaded with flavor. I then tried the Brick Chicken. It was very juicy and tender and the seasoning was just right. The brown butter sauce was the icing on the cake. It really brought the dish together. The rosemary potatoes were cooked to perfection and seasoned to match. Shortly after dinner, they brought out our dessert. I would have jumped right into the Butter Cake, but I had to wait for it to cool off. My wife tried the Dubai Chocolate and she really enjoyed it. She said the mixture of the pistachio cream and kataifi was delectable. Although small, we still feel like we got our monies worth, due to the beautiful presentation and overall flavor. My Butter Cake had finally cooled off enough for me to get a few bites and it was just as expected After we were done eating, we made our way over to our room. It was honestly the perfect ending to the night. Although it was freezing cold outside, it was nice and toasty when we walked in. The room gave off such a cozy and welcoming vibe. It honestly had everything we needed. The bed itself was super comfortable, as well as the pillows. The shower was absolutely massive and they included some really nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. The TV had tons of movie channels and the ability to order PPV as well. I actually woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, especially knowing I was about to get some amazing breakfast delivered to my door. For breakfast, I had the Avocado Toast. It was on a toasted honey berry wheat, with bruschetta, bagel seasoning, and home fries. I absolutely loved it!!! My wife had the belgian waffle with fresh berries and bacon. She said it was the perfect breakfast to wake up to. If you’re wanting to have an amazing dinner date or possibly even take it a step further and get a night in one of their beautiful bungalows, then I highly recommend reaching out to High Hill Farm and making a reservation soon. They also offer much larger houses as well. 3-5 bedrooms and some of them have pools (even heated pools).

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for an adult getaway!! Beautiful country setting in rural East Texas. Last year I spent 6 days in Palm Beach at a 5 star resort. I enjoyed my time this year much MORE at High Hill Resort. It’s quaint and quiet with the most friendly staff, wonderful accommodations and the food is fantastic!!! The brunch is unmatched. Chef makes the most delicious scones I’ve ever eaten and the caesar salad with capers is unbelievable!!!! Not only is the food PHENOMENAL the owners and staff are too. An unexpected DELIGHT with the perks of a 5 star hotel/resort. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a weekend getaway for an individual looking to unwind, a girls weekend or a couples getaway!!! I will be booking another trip same time next year.

High Hill Resort is a lovely surprise among the pines of east Texas. I came here for a ladies’ weekend based on a recommendation from a local friend. We stayed in the “barn suite,” which was casual but with all the right lux touches - towels, robes, bedding, etc. The customer service was friendly, attentive & excellent. We enjoyed a generous continental breakfast and then a day at the pool. This was a relaxing and beautiful weekend. We will be back - probably to stay at one of the gorgeous vacation homes with private pool & beach!

What a lovely family friendly resort! Sharon and Jason Romano were on site during our visit and provided so many extra touches including a toy and stickers to our little girl at dinner. She loved the live music, a harpist who played during dinner. The pool is just lovely and the food is incredible. We were blown away by all the staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Tyler is also very close if you want to make a visit. We would also imagine couples getting married here as the grounds and staff would be incredible to work with. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our anniversary at Cote. The food was wonderful but the hospitality of the owner, soys chef and chef made the experience even better. We will definitely make the trip from Houston again.
